Privacy policy

ProLearnX ("ProLearnX", "we", "us"), operated in association with DollarBook.biz, provides interview-preparation content and tools. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

We collect only what's needed to run the service:

• Account data — your email address (and name/avatar if you sign in with Google) when you create an account.
• Purchase data — what you bought and when. Card details are handled entirely by our payment processors (Stripe and Razorpay); we never see or store full card numbers.
• Learning activity — questions viewed/answered, streaks, XP, badges, and spaced-repetition review history, to power your dashboard and progress.
• AI feature inputs — if you use AI grading, the answer text you submit; if you use the voice mock interview, your spoken audio. Audio is transcribed and the recording is stored transiently (auto-deleted within 24 hours); we keep the transcript and resulting feedback.
• Usage analytics — aggregated, privacy-respecting product analytics and standard server logs.

To deliver and improve the service: authenticate you, unlock purchased content, generate AI feedback, run duels and leaderboards, prevent abuse, and provide support. We do not sell your personal data.

We share data only with the providers that operate the service on our behalf:

• Stripe and Razorpay — payment processing.
• Google — optional sign-in; Resend — magic-link sign-in emails.
• Anthropic and OpenAI — AI grading, the mock-interview interviewer, and transcription.
• Pusher/Ably — real-time messaging for duels.
• Our hosting, database, storage, and analytics providers.

Affiliate links to Amazon use standard affiliate tracking; clicking one drops a cookie controlled by Amazon — see Amazon's own privacy policy.

We keep account and purchase records while your account is active and as required for tax/legal purposes. Voice recordings are deleted within 24 hours. You can delete your account at any time from Settings, which removes your personal data subject to legal retention.

You can access, correct, export, or delete your data. Email us to exercise any privacy right available in your jurisdiction (including GDPR/CCPA where applicable).
